Ely Simon, MD, Chairman and CEO
Ely Simon, MD, Chairman and CEO, is a board-certified Neurologist and a Biomedical Engineer. Dr. Simon is Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY) and a member of the Center for Neurosciences, LIJ-North Shore University Hospital (Manhasset, NY), and served as Senior Neurologist at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Tel Aviv, Israel). Prior to founding NeuroTrax in 2000, Dr. Simon was a senior research fellow at the Laboratory of Neural Control, NINDS, National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, Maryland) and Senior Neurologist at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Tel Aviv, Israel). He served as Resident and Chief Resident at the Department of Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY). While in medical school, he founded PTI, Inc., a medical device company that developed a blood flow measurement device to be used at the tip of an angioplasty catheters and that licensed services to CR Bard’s USCI Division. Dr. Simon graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, received a Masters of Science degree from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (“CWRU”), and also received his medical degree from CWRU. Dr. Simon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of multiple professional societies and has authored many scientific articles. |

Glen M. Doniger, PhD, Director of Scientific Development
Glen M. Doniger, PhD, Director of Scientific Development, joined NeuroTrax in 2003. Dr. Doniger, a cognitive psychologist, directs numerous multi-center trials using the NeuroTrax system and is responsible for ensuring the scientific integrity of the MindStreams® tests and data. Dr. Doniger has worked in cognitive neuroscience research since 1995, utilizing behavioral, event-related potentials, and functional magnetic resonance imaging methods to study cognitive and perceptual processing. Dr. Doniger’s doctoral work included seminal studies of object recognition from partial information in schizophrenia patients. Dr. Doniger holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology (2001) and an MA in Psychology (1999) from New York University and has served as a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University. He is a former recipient of an NIMH individual predoctoral NRSA.

Shimon Amit, Director of Software Development
Shimon Amit, Director of Software Development, joined NeuroTrax in 2001, and joined the management team in 2003. Mr. Amit is a specialist in software technologies involving the Internet and client applications. He has been instrumental in the design and implementation of the MindStreams® technology platform and currently has primary responsibility for development and maintenance of the NeuroTrax technologies. |
