Early Release: MindStreams® Instrumental in New Study Showing Effects of Nutrition on Cognitive Function


In a new study published in the July 2010 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Dr. N. Vaisman and coauthors used MindStreams® to evaluate whether patients with liver disease would think better and have better concentration if they ate a good breakfast. Patients with chronic liver failure often suffer from mild cognitive impairment due to their disease – the Vaisman study found that attention and executive function improved significantly for those patients who ate breakfast.
